Mar 03, 2010 · How do I connect my "media". In the command prompt it shows media disconnected. I wanted to add that I had Roadrunner and my laptop worked flawlessly. We changed to AT&T U-verse and now I can't get to the internet. It is only a problem with my HP laptop. I went to cmd and when I type ipconfig - it says "no operation can be performed while media is disconnected". I have also tried setting up the university's WiFi network manually (using wpa-2 enterprise and aes). It just does not catch it.
